Almuñécar-(Granada)
She began her studies at the Reina Sofía Professional Dance Conservatory in Granada, specializing in Flamenco. In 2018, she completed her studies and later entered the "María de Ávila" Higher Dance Conservatory (Madrid) specializing in pedagogy. Currently, she is studying choreography and interpretation of Flamenco at the "Ángel Pericet" Higher Dance Conservatory (Málaga).
During the years 2017 and 2018, she performed in different productions within the FEX (Granada Music and Dance Festival) such as: "Trazos", "Tierra de Andanzas", "La muerte del deseo", "Ayres" and "Más tiempo que vida" directed by Antonio Canales, Rubén Olmo, Concha Jareño, Nani Paños and Eva "La Yerbabuena" respectively.
In 2019, she joined the Irene Morales company for their show "ÁNIMA," which premiered at the Granada Conference Center. In 2020, she premiered her first solo show, "Primigenia," at the Almuñécar cultural center and later at "La Chumbera" (Granada) and El Majuelo Park (Almuñécar).
Teresa Barbero is part of the artistic cast of the Christina Pagés Company in its two productions, "La jugada del sacrificio," winner of the 2020 Málaga Crea Award, and "Bellatrices." She is also a member of the "Corazón de Granada" show by guitarist Pablo Giménez, currently touring Saint Moritz, Switzerland.
In 2021 she became a member and solo dancer of the Agustín Barajas company in his show “Tierra de Lorca” touring Spain and Paris (France).
In 2022, he launched his "Open Art" project, a circuit of performances in urban spaces, presenting five pieces with different artists: "Recreo" with Yolanda Osuna and Alberto Raya, "Attachment Theory" with Christina Pagés and Rubén Lara, "The Void It Occupies" with Alba Fajardo and Alberto Raya, "Ver-Dial" with Borja Cortés and Eduardo López, and "D.Construir" with Agustín Barajas and Alberto Raya.
Currently, Teresa Barbero works in numerous flamenco venues such as: “Jardines de Zoraya” (Granada), Tablao Flamenco “Albaycin” (Granada), Tablao “Los Amaya” (Málaga), Tablao Flamenco “La Pacheca” (Madrid), Venta el Gallo (Granada), Tablao “La Alboreá” (Granada), El Templo del Flamenco (Granada), Tablao la Soleá (Granada), Los Tarantos (Granada), Peña La Platería (Granada) and Peña Niño-Vélez (Málaga) among others…
