Eva Manzano

Born in Granada and with fifteen years he moved to Seville where his professional training begins by Matilde Coral in Triana; For several years it is a scholarship by the prestigious Cristina Heeren Foundation of flamenco art. He has studied with teachers like Angelita Vargas, Carmen Ledesma, Milagros Mengíbar or Manolo Soler. In addition, he has worked in recognized tablaos of Seville, Granada, Córdoba and Madrid.

In 2006 she was awarded the Young Art and Creativity award given by the Baza City Council. Her teaching work has taken her to teach around the world: Ukraine, France, Italy, Germany, Cuba and even for Le Moyne College and Syracuse University in New York, and she has collaborated with the Spanish Embassy and Instituto Cervantes in different countries.

His traditional commune dance with the idea of ​​mestizo music and other roots. He works with classical or Andalusian training artists; with rockers, lyric choirs or Andalusian metal. His palms and zapateado have been heard in Hollatierra, the last solo studio album of the lizard leader Nick, Antonio Arias, at the Center for Contemporary Matadero Creation of Madrid with the singer-songwriter Folk, Lorena Álvarez or with the Franco-Argeline Group Mademoiselle in the theater/Zíngaro Circus of Paris.

Among her most personal projects are Intimate Visions, for piano and dance where she dances to pieces of French Impressionism with pianist Juan Gallego-Coín, and Picasso's Monsters, her first work in a short piece for unconventional dance spaces with sequenced music in which she pays homage to the work of the painter and which premiered at the Night of the Books in Madrid and has also been seen in the programming of La Madraza of the University of Granada.

Other points of interest include her participation in the new show by pianist and singer David Montañés, "Aljamía," and her role as artistic director at the Joy Awards gala in Saudi Arabia and at the International Congress of Executives: Companies with Soul in Fibes, Seville.

She has been part of the main cast of the Flamenco Cultural Center of Madrid with the shows Lorca, Poeta Flamenco  (directed by Leilah Broukhim) and Viva Madrid Vivo (directed by Jesús Fernández).
