Miguel Ortíz Ruvira "El Nene". Born in Marbella (Málaga) on August 10, 1985.
He began his professional career at a young age, starting to work in famous flamenco venues in the Málaga area at just 16 years old. He trained as a musician and percussionist, later going on to work with important national and international dance companies such as:
– José Porcel Company
– Miguel Ángel Espino Company
– David Morales Company
– Sergio Aranda Company
He also performs solo with several flamenco dancers of the stature of David Paniagua, Pol Vaquero, Alfonso Losa, Nino de Los Reyes, La Truco, Pepa Molina, Moisés Navarro, etc.
In accompanying flamenco singing, he works with singers of the caliber of Rubio de Pruna, David de Jacoba, Rafael de Utrera, Arcángel, La Tana, Montse Cortes, La Fabi, Amparo la Rempompa, and others.
He also works with guitarists of the caliber of Enrique del Melchor, Daniel Casares, José Manuel León, etc.
Currently, he also collaborates as a guest artist with several philharmonic orchestras, such as those of Málaga and Córdoba.
He also accompanies other artists from different musical genres and jazz trios, such as Jorge Pardo and Jesús Bachiller "El Bachi" in his septet.
She has worked with international artists such as Ana Mena or Lorena McKennitt.
Today, Miguel "El Nene" continues to work with many of the artists mentioned above and others, touring internationally in numerous countries and performing at prestigious flamenco and jazz festivals, as well as all the dance festivals popular today.
As a personal and independent percussionist, Miguel continues to work solo, producing his own tracks for both live performances and studio recordings.
